slept at almost 5am yesterday and wanted to sleep in but woke up suddenly around 10am and couldn’t get back to sleep.

the private maple server was still down so laze around watching animes until around 1pm, had lunch at home and carried on watching animes.

was supposed to meet my mom at 4pm at her office then go visit a few travel agencies but fell asleep while watching animes until around 5pm.

rushed to people’s park and went to 3 different travel agencies but couldn’t really make up our minds on where we wanted to go.

japan was our first choice and they had 2 different places, tokyo/osaka or hokkaido. i’ve already been to tokyo/osaka when i was younger and the places of interest like disney land and temples just didn’t suit us well. hokkaido on the other hand wasn’t a good time since the cherry blossoms were in may and the lavenders didn’t bloom till late july.

europe was rather fully booked and the only slot we had left was a 10 day trip to italy/france/switzerland. it says 10 days but we’re leaving on the first day’s 11.55pm flight so theoretically speaking, it’s only a 9 day trip which will cost up to 3300 per pax.

not really worth it i think, for that money, i rather pay a bit more and spend more time there maybe like a 14 or 21 day trip.

the next alternative was to go back to china again, guangzhou and hongkong. guangzhou to visit our relatives and hongkong for the great hongkong sale in june.

brought back a stack of pamphlets but still unsure of which destination to go.

wanted to go down to cityhall for dinner and to look at the watch i wanted to get but the carpark was full and the queue leading to the carpark was crazy so decided to come another day.

went to holland village for dinner instead, hate noodles and xiao long bao at crystal jade. the noodles were too salty and the xiao long bao were just not that great.

went home after that, played a little maple and leveled up 5 times before coming downstairs with my laptop for a smoke break as well as to blog, i just can’t seem to blog at home on my computer.

wanted to go out but couldn’t find anyone free, the only one free was aaron but he was tired after his stay at raffles hotel and wanted to go back to sleep.

tried setting up the private maple server but got lazy 1/2 way and will probably do it tomorrow or something.

still can’t decide what watch to get, the tag heuer kirum series that i wanted was no longer in production but there were still stock in a few certain shops. the other i wanted was the tag heuer grand carrera which cost almost triple the kirium.

oh well, i’ll leave it to fate. i’m probably fine with any of them.

somethings that i wanted to post along the week but didn’t have the time till now…

eeeeeeeeeeeyahhhhhhhhhhhh! was my first reaction when i realised we will not be able to buy cheap petrol from malaysia anymore. i was intending to even fix up the device for the petrol tank when i get my car but seems that all hope is lost now. why can’t the stupid singapore government subsidies petrol like malaysia instead of taxing it crazily high?

aaron started his guinea pig job today and couldn’t connect to the wireless internet. either something is very wrong with the wireless network or his laptop. hope he enjoys his stay there till tomorrow.

finalised my holiday trip to japan but going to tokyo instead of hokaido. going with just my mom since we can’t find anyone else to go with us.

mom has intentions to change car again, i’m totally against the idea of her getting the bmw 5th series as it has been 5 years since the model came out and i think they are changing the model soon.

she’s also considering the merc C & E class but i find the C class fugly and the E class has been around for almost 3 years already, not really worth buying one now.

trying to get her to get the brand new audi A4 instead, really like that car and the engine’s much better and more environment friendly.

my new company has agreed to pay for 1/2 of my new laptop, waiting for steve jobs now to announce the new releases in june/july. mac os x, here i come!

decided that i really need a new wallet since the old one is torn and tattled, will get a new one with my first pay, probably from mont blanc but the one i really like is the one from LV.

oh well, see how much i’ve left for the month after paying off all my debts.

i need to save $4000 by december for my new car’s insurance, parking fee for the first month and road tax. probably will pass a sum of money to my mom every month to save, can’t really save if the money’s with me, i’ll have this urge to spend it.

intending to change to a blackberry or a palm os phone, probably the blackberry since i’ll need to read emails on the go once i start work. i hate the designs but the functions are good, oh well…

have to meet some clients on monday and setup a set to show them our touchscreens. it’s a big international company so i hope they like our product and use it for their upcoming launch on june 17th.

teck kin resigned from his company after a fight with a colleague and resigned.

one can ask, how can someone be forced to resign from a company he created?

why not? if steve jobs can do it, why not teck kin?

just feeling sad for a friend who has colleagues like that, how on earth can he stand her for the past few years.

he’s back with lanchgroup anyway, the colleague called and apologised on top of non stop crying.

she deserves it and he deserves better!

thinking of getting a new camera in this upcoming pc show, not sure if i want to get back another sony cybershot, might want to try the canon as well since yiteng said his was perfect.

been super busy for the past few days, didn’t find enough time to sleep let alone blogging.

it’s weekend now so i finally get sometime for myself, have to catch up with my posts and my games.

luck has been good lately although my right eye kept twitching, some sweeper found my wallet and returned it to my maid the next morning. everything was intact cept for my atm cards, debit cards, ezlink card and cash.

those luckily, can be replaced but i’m temporary cashless cause i can’t draw out any cash without my cards until the bank sends me the replacement.

however, i realised after a few hours from my internet banking that someone has used my debit card to make a few purchases in seng shiong for $89. made a police report immediately and hope they catch the idiot who used it, oh well…at least money can earn back.

settled the employment with my new company, supposed to start work on the 15th june and get a full month’s salary but my japan trip was postponed 1 week later so i can now only start work after the 23rd of june.

had meetings after meetings yesterday and had pizza for lunch again, finally settled on a lot of outstanding issues and i think things are looking up for us, i would say the current team is a strong team and i hope we’ll go far together.

left office early yesterday and went down to simlim square to get some parts for some computers in the company and then went down to orchard paragon for dinner.

charlie wanted to take some pictures of the touchscreen stands in the m1 shop, he needed more ideas before he can draw out a final design for our stands.

had dinner at spaghettis, been a long time since i last ate there, i think it was with adree and kai some years back.

also met up with christ, an ex-colleague from sun microsystems, to collect a red bomb.

a red bomb also meant a wedding invitation.

went back after that and played a little maple, got sick of my bandit and decided to start on a warrior instead.

the server went offline within 30 minutes since it was already late and i decided to go sleep, i need to catch up with my sleep.

as for today, i actually wanted to sleep into the afternoon but found myself awake at 10am, answered some emails and played a little game before having lunch at home.

felt a little sleepy after lunch and decided to take a short nap but the next thing i knew, it was already dark at 9pm.

played a little game but the server was terribly lagged so decided to bring my laptop down to blog.

i think i found a way to run a maple story server on my home computer, will try it tomorrow since i’m not really in the mood today.

trond’s flying off to shanghai tonight to visit his girl, how i wish i could fly anytime i want and get away from everything once a while.

left home early to go back to office, there were certain things we need to discuss so maple was out for today.

realised my wallet wasn’t with me after a few hours and started panicking, there are a lot of things in my wallet that are irreplaceable and even if they were replaceable, it’s very troublesome.

work finished early since trond had to visit the doctor so went back and concentrated on maple for the rest of the night.

wanted to go for a swim in the morning but couldn’t find anyone to accompany me, was feeling too lazy to go alone as well so maybe another day…

spent the whole morning, afternoon and evening at home playing maple on the private server, managed to reach level 90 in just 1 day.

met benjamin and his friends around 8pm, one of his friends needed a copy of microsoft office so they got me to burn a copy for him.

met them for a few drinks before going back to maple again, nelson joined me since he got home already and played to almost 1am.

got to level 100 in just 2 days of leisure gaming!

now i can mambo at home all day/night long instead of going down to zouk and squeezing with the kids.

oh how i miss my mambo nights.

used to be there every wednesday with the usual group and danced all night long, it was good exercise man!

but that was like in 2001 2002, been years since i’ve set foot on a mambo night, just can’t find anyone to accompany me there.

still, long live mambo!

was feeling kinda bored at home so it was either i get someone out for supper or stay at home to play battle stations,

managed to get nelson out for supper so we walked over to boon lay, the 2nd time for me in less than 6 hours. was just there with aaron for botak jones.

anyway, it’s not often that i can get nelson out so i decided to sacrifice my battle stations and went for supper with him.

somehow it’s very strange that we can talk for hours non stop on nonsensical topics and today’s not an exception, ended up talking to 4.30am in the morning before deciding to go home.

he introduced me to a maple private server and we decided to give it a try since we were both maple players long time ago but gave up cause of the long hours needed for leveling.

this private server actually has 440% more experience so leveling is not an issue.

i’m downloading the files on my computer as i’m typing this post on my laptop, hopefully it’ll be done by tomorrow morning.

i know i need to do up the price list before monday but i’m just not in the mood to do it, probably do it on monday itself or something and come up with some lame excuse.

was just thinking if i could get my hands on the source code for maple story so i can run my own private server…or maybe not, think it’ll be a lot of work and i’m feeling lazy lately.

if everything works out, tomorrow will be maple day!

slept right into the afternoon and waited for my mom to pick my maid and i up for an early dinner.

went to the paper wrapped chicken place near maju camp, the same place i had dinner with trond just last week.

after eating almost the same dishes again, i think such food shouldn’t be eaten too often…once in a while is okay but too much of it will cause adverse effects.

went over to bukit timah plaza for a walk, it has been many years since i was there.

i remember when i was much younger, i used to love coming to bukit timah plaza cause of a particular restaurant called “wishbone” and i actually realised that the restaurant is still alive!

the deco has changed a little but i’m very sure the tables and chairs are still the same as when i used to come when i was still in school uniform.

had a walk around the supermarket, bought quite a lot of stuffs and also bought myself a new pair of goggles finally, now i can carry on my swimming plans.

did up the price list for work and met trond. he actually came down all the way to my place just to pass me a chocolate cake. thanks pal!

came to realise that the weekend was almost over and i still had shit loads of work to do so quickly rushed everything, hopefully everything will be alright.

started maple-ing with nelson on the private server, took me about 2 hours to level till 50.

i got a feeling i’ll be spending the next few days at home maple-ing non stop…

oh well, at least my fridge is fully stocked up after today.

yes i know i’m a little late in this but here it is anyway…
