sorry for the late posts, was kinda tied up by various activities recently.

met aaron out for supper on sunday night, went over to boon lay supposedly for nasi lemak but the queue was just too damn long so we decided to order something else.

pictures were taken using aaron’s sonyericsson’s phone so it’s kinda blur.

we actually managed to finish up everything before walking to the nearby 7-11 for some sweets, for some unknown reasons, i’ve been having this crave for sweets recently.

galatine is a milk-based sweet and it tasted weird when i first tried it but it got better and finished it on that night itself, the other packet of sweets is the strawberry flavoured “qra qra” that i blogged about a few days ago…the one that contains pork.

went to yet another coffeeshop before walking back to my place for a short chat.

there goes another weekend…

couldn’t get to sleep so decided to watch some new movies.

in my opinion, a low budget film and it’s wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy boring!

not sure if it’s still showing in the cinemas but this show is not even worth downloading let alone watching it on the big screen.

a little bit of good news…

managed to bring my final theory test forward to next wednesday.

it was originally on 16th june but there was a slot opening for 16th april so i grabbed it.

actually it was colin (low) who grabbed it but he has not finished his final theory evaluation so he gave me that slot.

i’ll be spending almost the whole of next week in bbdc with 5 driving practicals, 2 final theory practices and the final theory test.

hoping to grab more practical sessions on the 17th and 18th so i’ve to check the site often.

my dream of getting the license by june might come true after all.

finally got to see pictures of baby lukas, irene’s new born baby.

irene is a colleague and a friend of mine from both microsoft and sun microsystems.

was really bored at home so decided to bring my laptop downstairs for a change of environment,

ran into my neighbour downstairs and he forced persuaded to help him with another quotation of his…

think it’s time i start charging for my services.

did his quotation within minutes, why can’t he just learn how to do such simple things himself, he’s not that old anyway.

he started his crap again but i was hardly listening, was chatting with people in irc.

got aaron to come down to meet me since we were both bored and we decided to walk around.

originally wanted to go for prata at jurong east but found it too far after walking for 1/4 the journey and decided to go to cheers @ lakeside instead.

bought a couple of drinks before walking towards boon lay for nasi lemak, the queue was too long so ended up at some coffee shop nearby.

sat for a while before going over to the nearby 7-11 to buy 2 packets of sweets that i fell in love with recently.

it was first introduced by hengyu when i met him last week and have been buying it often since then.

it’s locally produced from a local company and comes in 3 different flavours, milk, strawberry and lemon.

my favourite is still the milk flavoured one but the strawberry is not too bad as well, the lemon was however, only average.

i didn’t realise this the first time i was there but there’s a small tag on the shelf that says “non halai” where the packets are kept.

i took a closer look at the ingredients and saw this…

it actually contains gelatin, a substance found in pork skin.

not that it matters much to me but it’s not everyday that you see sweets “non halai”.

walked back to my block and chatted for a bit more before coming back.

i think i need a life.

speaking of hengyu, i forgot i was apologise for not going to sentosa yesterday night…

my leg was really bad yesterday so decided to give it a miss, maybe next week.
