went out for lunch with trond although i’ve already taken my lunch.
he seems to be in a very bad state cause of the project he was handling in office.
oh well, all i can do is give my advice and accompany him for lunch

went for my 3rd and 4th practical lessons today.
it was at 4pm so i took my time at home watching animes and surfing the net with the intention to leave house around 2.45pm since the bus journey took around 1 hour.
however, i lost track of time and before i knew it, i realised it was already 3.15pm.
quickly took a shower, threw some clothes on and made a mad rush to get a cab, luckily there were available cabs and i reached there in just 15 minutes but $6.40 poorer.
the instructor was a goon, kept commenting i brake too late, accelerate too fast, check blind spots blindly etc etc etc…
i’ve already taken extra caution on the way i brake and accelerate to try to lower it to “learner” standards and the previous instructors all have no problems with it but why him?
and i did check my blind spots but he said my movement was too fast…wtf???
you expect me to turn my head for a full 1-2 seconds just to check if some bike is hiding in my blind spot?
it wasn’t until i told him that i was a re-registered student that he started to back off a little.
decided to make some noise at the customer service counter after the 1st lesson since they promised me there’ll be a remark for the instructors but i got crap from them as usual,
started raising my voice a little and the old man serving me wasn’t happy so he wanted to refer me to the manager but the manager has left for the day so he referred me to the person doing complaints.
thing was, my next lesson starts in just 5 minutes time and i didn’t want to argue with him so i told him i’ll meet him after my lesson.
started my 4th lesson and the instructor was much more understanding, he went in to check for me but he didn’t have much luck either so he decided to give me a refresher course on all the things i’ve learnt before and pass me if he thinks i’m up to it.
did all necessary turns for stage 2 and went into stage 3. stage 2 actually has 11 lessons and i’m surprised he was able to pass me all 11 lessons within an hour.
went back into the circuit and did the s and crank courses as well as some parking. i didn’t do well on the first crank course and ended up mounting kerb but i managed to get it done on the 2nd try.
it seems that the civic i was driving has a different turning radius from the older civic.
all in all, i passed almost 17 lessons from 2 stages in just 1 lesson, now my dream of getting my license by june is really coming true.
let’s hope i pass the final theory test tomorrow.
went back to the guy who was in charge of complains and wrote my report, knowing the way bbdc works, i’ll probably only get an answer from them after getting my license.
i’ll probably go chase them up every time i have lessons there.
-
a little bit of bad luck, i was wearing a pair of berms, my favourite pair actually, and the button came off just before the 2nd lesson started…
i had to hold up my berms all the way to the car and from the car back into the center.
that’s what i get for not wearing belt.
called my mom to pick me up and she actually agreed…i was actually just testing my luck but she actually agreed to it,
either something is wrong with her or age is catching up.

realised that my surfing speed got from bad to worst, it was bad a couple of weeks ago but still could get decent speeds using colin’s private proxy but i can’t even load anything today.
knowing it’ll be useless but i still gave starhub a call to complain about the speed.
expected some crap technical services personnel to troubleshoot nonsensical things with me but he didn’t, he just calmly took down my number and told me the technical support staff will ring me after checking.
“after checking??? you don’t even have my account number yet!”
he just said “whoops sorry i forgot” and proceeded asking me for my account or ic number.
what the???
gave him a piece of my mind and asked him when will i be expecting a call from them.
and the answer i got was…”either this week or next week.”
i gave up, i just hung up.
useless people.

andee found me someone who is interested in working for trond so i forwarded the resume over and help fix a date/time for an interview.
let’s hope andee’s friend will be up to the job.
or maybe i should take up the job offer myself…but the pay’s just too low.
oh well.
