it was quite uneventful in office today other than the fact i got pissed with trond for changing his mind on the new network over and over again…gave him quite a piece of my mind, i think he could see that i was rather unhappy.
almost lost my patience with him again at the supplier’s place but that’s a another story…it’s a good thing i get over my tempers quickly.
went down to clementi to meet aaron before taking a bus down to west coast park for weisiang’s bbq. it was for no occasion but he got his mates from sim along and there were like 10 of us in all.
for the next 4 1/2 hours, the only thing i knew about those other guys was that they were human beings. i might be anti-social at times but they are the real pros. i sat there with aaron on another bench hungrily waiting for the food cooked solely by weixiang.
for most of the bbqs i’ve been to, everyone will normally have a hand in helping out but no, they spent most of the time talking and playing games within themselves…what a bunch of anti-social people.
it’s not like they are some upper class people since we were all undergrads but they really acted so.
finally felt full after 4 hours of waiting for the food that came bit by bit but i must say weixiang really put in a lot of effort to prepare and cook the food.
he prepared something like 1000 different flavours of chicken chop…okay maybe not 1000 but at least 10-15 different flavours (some tasted awful but the majority were good) of chicken chop alone.
the best dishes were the cheese potato and the garlic bread, both self made and not bought.
was really bored throughout the bbq and if it weren’t for the good food (and the fact that my pay isn’t out yet), i might have given some crap excuse and left early in a cab.
went back at 12am with aaron when weixiang and his mates were playing heart attack.
