the old outer-limits gang had a dinner on friday, when i was in vietnam, in celebration of kai’s return from lalaland. it has been years since i met kai so decided to call him out for dinner, managed to get cherie and yiqiang to come along as well.

met at orchard since cherie needed to get some stuffs for her ipod but managed to persuade her to get it from sim lim instead.

kai still looks the same cept much slimmer, probably the thinnest period of time in his life but i have the gut feeling he’ll grow back to normal in just a few short months.

since i owed kai 3 years worth of birthday presents, he “kar-ed” me of a red crumpler pouch and a belt to hang the pouch.

after much debating on what to have for dinner, we finally agreed on the japanese buffet place at sunset way.

we ate, we drank, we talked, we singed, we smoked, we camwhored

met fudgie and fish at the shell near their place,

silly fudgie was still asking me how he should react since the last time he met fish was almost 2 years ago and there have been some conflicts within the 2 years.

told him to act like the idiot he always does and he really did so…

anyway, was glad fish agreed to come down for supper with us, sometimes old friendships that have gone downhill over time due to whatever things can be salvaged and renewed.

walked over to jurong point for some food and drinks and had plenty to talk,

caught up with one another and i got fish to ally up with me to scold fudgie for his brand stuff fetish, he should really stop it, he just doesn’t realise how stupid he really is but i’m sure he’ll come to realise it in time…

but knowing how dumb he really is, his time will probably come later than sooner.

probably spent over an hour there just talking but it was getting really late and i had to go since tomorrow’s an early day, took a cab and sent them back before going home.

hope tonight clears everything up…

was speaking to fudgie over msn and came to the topic of jenno aka ifish.

a good friend we shared 2 years back but somehow distant herself from us for some unknown reasons.

oh well, we did the first move of asking her out for supper tomorrow and she actually agreed!

we actually didn’t have much hope of her replying even but to think she actually did agree to come out for supper with us again.

well, all i hope for is for the 3 jurong “j”s back as good friends like we were once…

and this, hopefully, is the first step.

simon (w32) was sending colin, orhbigood, anthony, mark and myself back but it was still kinda early so we headed for the famous romantic jurong park.

it is actually on top of jurong hill, next to jurong bird park…

went to the top of the lighthouse and enjoyed the breeze and view there, it is one of the highest place in jurong and we could catch a very good view on most of jurong as well as jurong island.

didn’t stay long cause i had a stomachache so headed for the nearest coffeeshop at block 651 (where they have the sisters’ chicken wings) to download whatever waste i had within me.

ordered 6 chicken wings, 1 for each but i ended up eating most of it.

since mark was coming over to my place, simon dropped the both of us before sending the 2 smaller kids back.

for the first time, quite a fair bit of people turned up on time, including myself, but of course, there will always be some black sheep like andee who comes not just late but super late.

we took 3 tables at “dragon village” since they were able to give us $1 discount per pax,

the biggest table consist mainly of the older generation people like colin, zhihao, johanna, cherie, dreamland, darkbeat and 2 younger ones, w32 and neb.

the table beside were all the newer generation kids, koksiang, wishful, mark, anthony, orhbigood, djcanto and jerry.

the last table were the ah bengs, andee, dunoe, panda, littles and jovial.

i was jumping between the first and second table eating everything i find cooked…

lol!

it’s not greedy, it’s just that i wanted a larger variety of food cooked differently by different people.

plenty of chit chats, plenty of laughter but lack of interaction between all tables but at least i’m glad that each table had their own chats and laughter.

went off quite early, around 9.30pm…

i half expected someone to organise something after the meal but most of us had our own plans and so we went separate ways.

a good meal but we could have done better…

maybe next time we could book a ballroom and have catered food, or even potluck,

only time will tell.
