went back to rest for a while before meeting trond and charlie, supposedly for dinner and movie at vivo.
bad luck 1) took us about an hour just to get there, massive jam on the expressways no matter where we turn.
bad luck 2) movies that i wanted to watch were all sold out
bad luck 3) restaurants that i wanted to dine at were all full with a long queue
ended up choosing some chinese restaurant that serves $13.90 buffet, it was a new place so we decided to give it a try.
bad luck 4) the restaurant’s service and food were terrible!
too lazy to type everything out about the place so i’ll just write it in point form
- the spread was horrible, worst than those $15 china-nese buffets in bugis
- the rate they took to refill the main food like pork, chicken and beef were in 30 minutes interval
- the rate they took to refill the plates and bowls were also in 30 minutes interval but a separate 30 minutes from the food
- there were either food with no plates/bowls or plates/bowls with no food
- it took them forever to refill their sauces
- their soup tasted like crap
- their pitcher of green tea consisted of 90% ice, 5% ice water and 5% green tea
- the service was slow, not the normal slowness but super slow!
bad luck 5) the steam from the steamboat was blowing directly into my face the whole time
bad luck 6) dbs card members had some discount but i only brought my money clip out and my dbs card is in my wallet at home.
well, at least the company was good for the night, camwhored a little during dinner.

the steamboat, look at the horrible colours of the soup!

bowls of spices and sauces, okay maybe we took too many bowls

the only water i got to drink was the water that melted from the ice

left overs that i scoped up from the steamboat

trond’s the only one who seem to enjoy the food

“wtf, why so lousy food!”

camwhored a little during a smoke break while trond was slowly enjoying his food

was still early so decided to go for durians at damsy (spelling?). heard about the durians there but have never try it so decided to give it a try.
bad luck 7) buy durians also got cheated!
the uncle seemed friendly at first and when i asked how much he’s sell, he merely said he has $10, $12 & $15 ones.
ordered 1 of each and it was a nightmare from there, point form
- the $10 durian had 4 seeds although the durian was huge, tasted like normal $5 durian
- the $12 durian had only 3 seeds, best among all but $4 per seed?
- the $15 durian had 6 seeds but it tasted just horrible
wanted to order more but the price put us off so decided to call it a day and go somewhere else for durians another day.
it was only when we called for the bill that we realised that the prices, $10, $12 & $15 were not for 1 durian but for 1 kg.
wtf!!!
wanted to just use the durian shells to smack the uncle in the face!
bad luck
i fucking paid $45 for 3 small lousy durians!
look at the whites, no flesh!

trond can eat anything and say it’s nice… -.-”"”

free tissue thought

trond was rushing for time to talk to his girl in china so charlie and i had to share a cab back home…
but that’s not the end of my bad luck,
bad luck 9) the driver gave me all the change in coins, all $4.90 in coins!
bad luck 10) i had to drop the coins on the floor on the way home and 4 coins went into the drain…all 4 $1 coins!
bad luck 11) the new pack of cigarettes i bought had a fault flip top cover, can’t close the pack properly
bad luck 12) went into the lift with a moth which kept flying around my head
and the final bad luck for the day…
bad luck 13) i fell off my bed while sleeping, something i’ve never done before in my entire life
wish my good luck will come soon…
