it has been a while since i had undisturbed sleep and today’s sleep was one of the best.

woke up at 2pm to a wonderful smell of mutton stew, got hungry almost immediately and asked my maid for a large serving with plain bread.

found myself sleepy after lunch and somehow dozed off in front of my computer till 6pm.

was supposed to attend a dinner at malcolm’s place so quickly change and took a cab over.

i just love malcolm’s food, it’s not everyday you get to see a 50 year old ang mo from australia cooking delicious malay rendang and beef pies.

also had a long business chat with him and kenneth, kenneth has plans to start an online website and wants to rope us in to help. although i’m okay with the plans, i just don’t quite like kenneth’s ideas.

was also suggesting to malcolm that he should start a small eatery or something and just sell pies since his pies are really godly. he could probably go far with his pies if he can find the right path and do the right marketing.

wish i had the finances and time to help but i really don’t…i can only help him with within my limits.

thomas picked me up from malcolm’s place and went over to another friend’s house. apparently he bought a new wireless router but none of them knew how to set it up.

probably spent about 5 minutes setting up the network before going down with them to geylang for supper. wanted to have beef horfun and bean curd for dessert but the famous bean curd stall has moved to another location and we can’t find it so we went back dessertless.

was lazing around the whole day after waking up at 3pm but somehow went back to sleep again around 5pm.

supposed to have dinner at malcolm’s but somehow i overslept till 6.30pm and rushed over by taxi.

malcolm can really cook good pies and pizzas, it’s a waste he doesn’t want to setup a small eatery or something.

had a nice and long chat with him over work, office politics and life till 9.45pm,

also picked up the badminton rackets that i’ve ordered and paid for about 6 months ago.

each cost more than $300 sgd but i paid only like 1/2 the price.

1 is actually for a friend’s birthday present so i’m thinking if i should send both for restringing or only the one i’ll be using,

probably depends on my wallet’s mood i guess.

was supposed to go down to mustafa center after leaving malcolm’s place but vincent (goh) couldn’t make it at the last moment so i grabbed a cab from jurong east and rushed home for my first major clanwar in my new battle station’s clan.

managed to get home just in time to hear the “gong” for the start of the clanwar, the thing i like about this clan is they are very organised and very into the game, unlike the previous clan i was in that was rather weak and unorganised.

they even found a way to sound a “gong” when the clanwar starts,

however, even with almost 30 people online, we were gang-banged by 5 different clans and our base got sunk in around 10 minutes…but we did manage to take 1 clan down.

was trying to get to sleep right after the clanwar cause there’ll be a 2nd one in around 8 hours but kept tossing and turning again in bed until i gave up.

went back to my computer and started some mass invites for the 100 extra APs, those mass invites really work cause i have all 100 APs in less than an hour.

still awake at 5.30am so decided to just wait for 30 minutes for the clanwar to start, also sms-ed my cousin to wake him up for the clanwar,

as it turns out, i fell asleep on my keyboard and it was already 11.30am when i realised it…

damn, i missed the war!

going for a house viewing later with my cousin his parents, hopefully they’ll want to buy the place so i can use the commission to buy my macbook pro come this june/july.

irene is a colleague and a friend of mine from both microsoft and sun microsystems.

dinner was supposed to be at malcolm’s new place at 7.30pm but it was already 9pm when i got there,

alighted at the wrong bus stop and had to walk a distant on my bad leg.

was starving when i got there but realised most of the food have already been eaten up,

still managed to get a few tiny pieces of chicken and some home made icecream.

not everyone was invited thought, only the ones closer to one another,

joe, merly, terry & girlfriend, johnson, chris, me and of course the hosts malcolm and his boyfriend harry.

out of the 7 of us who were working together, only johnson, chris and malcolm were still in the company but this week is johnson’s last week and malcolm is on 6 weeks hospital leave,

chris is also leaving after his wedding in june.

everyone seems to have problems with tony, kenneth and warren…oh and kenneth got promoted to senior.

not an unexpected move seeing how he has been gearing up for that hot seat but i think he did quite a bit of wrong moves,

being promoted with little or no support from your fellow colleagues is gonna be hell and he probably is going through that now.

gossiped about the good old days as well as the hellish days in office nowadays with the replacement of 2 temp staffs with every 1 perm staff leaving, sounds crappy to me.

went back together at about 10.45pm and met aaron at lakeside mrt for supper.

he was on his way back from the east and since i was also on the way back, we met up for a while.

wanted to stay longer but he made arrangement with his gay friend for another round of supper so couldn’t keep me accompany for long.

lol!

just kidding!

i was supposed to tag along for the 2nd supper but backed out last minute, my mind was too focused on fire emblem.

i can just feel the characters calling out to me…

spent most of the day at home watching movies and animes but was yearning for some garlic bread at the western food near my place, managed to get colin (low) to accompany me there for dinner since he was still early for his date.

had chicken chop with 2 extra pieces of garlic bread, the garlic bread just taste heavenly.

went back home after that but came out again to meet tian chan, he wanted to “borrow” money again…

went back again after that only to come out yet again to meet my ex-colleague, kenneth (peh).

since i was rather reluctant to go back office for the last time, i got kenneth to do me the favour of collecting whatever i have left in office for me.

it wasn’t much since i started clearing my stuffs on the same day i tendered my resignation, all that was left was a doggie soft toy (monitor cleaner), a naruto “gamabunta” figurine, my adidas jacket and the outstanding taxi claims which was way overdue.

he wanted a treat for taking the trouble to come down (he stays in tampines) so we walked to same coffeeshop i went to earlier in the evening and had chicken noodles, shared a bowl of prawn dumplings (that tasted really awful!) and a few dishes of “tim sum”.

apparently he was still hungry so decided to have prata, it was quite a long walk there and i sorta regretted mentioning the place after thinking of the journey back. decided to stop halfway at another 24 hour coffeeshop since my legs were really starting to ache.

again we shared some assorted “tim sum”, a large plate of rojak and a bowl of fish slice soup.

had a long chat on the latest gossips happening in office as well as the usual politics. the one thing i really hate about working is the office politics, i normally don’t get myself involved but it’s always nice to catch up on the latest news.

mark (ng) called me when i was still at the coffeeshop asking for supper with fudgie. since i was already out and quite near to mark’s place, i told him to meet me at the coffeeshop before walking back to my place.

and a long walk it was…for me at least.

hung around downstairs my block till almost 7am before going home shagged.

my namecheap account where all my domains are bought from was locked up yesterday thanks to mark.

the domain he bought with his mom’s credit card was somehow suspected of being a fraud so now the whole account has been suspended till i’m able to send them copies of photographed identities of both mark’s mom and myself.

luckily they did not suspend my other domains or else i would have strangled mark alive.

hopefully will be able to send in all the details they need by tonight.

called the hospital for an appointment and the earliest date they were able to give me was on march 10th, however, the mc given to me last week ends on the 5th so by right they should be giving me an appointment either on the 5th or on the 6th.

the girl i spoke to said she’ll call me back after checking with the doctor but i’ve not heard anything from her yet, time to blast them tomorrow.

my human resource manager also called to inform me that my early release request has been approved and my last official day working in sun microsystems will be this coming friday.

finally got myself out of that shit hole.

finally back to work after 7 days of rest…

feels kinda lost.

and all i did was…

i can feel the “ord” mood.

kenneth, who was off, brought a huge plate of yu sheng to office…kinda nice to have a “lou hei” in office, never had the chance last year.

he bought extra fish so there was plenty to go around, think the whole plate was finished within 5 minutes.

will post pictures of it if i can get my hands on a memory card adapter.

i’ve finally tendered my resignation officially…

last day should be on 5th april,

will probably start looking for a new job in march,

or maybe fully concentrate on my studies if my account manager permits…

was doing buddy system with a new colleague who has been around for 3-4 weeks but he hardly knows anything, almost wanted to puke blood.

trust warren to hire such “dark” people…

finally managed to push him to someone else, otherwise i would probably have burst an artery or something.

oh well, tomorrow is the day my resignation takes into effect,

2 months and counting down.
